Puspa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, is a Nepali politician who served as the Prime Minister of Nepal from August 2016 to May 2017. He is the founder and former leader of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) and played a key role in the Nepalese Civil War. Dahal has also served as the chairman of the party and as the leader of the opposition in parliament. He is currently a member of parliament and a prominent figure in Nepali politics.
